The 50 acres of land that is now Eagle Creek was originally the private residence of an eccentric lawyer named Bob Eagleson. Eagleson designed and built the castle, which is now one of the only original structures on the property. Mr. Eagleson’s castle was by far the most unique home we had ever seen, complete with turrets and gothic orange sconces. During the renovation of Eagle Creek in 1993, the castle interior and courtyard were updated along with all of the landscaping and white fences.

The 2000 square foot Big Rock Center, 4000 square foot Challenge Center with adjacent swimming pool, decks, climbing wall, sand volleyball, tennis and basketball courts were all added in the first few years. All of the high level challenges were designed and built by Ropes Course Incorporated.

Today, the Eagle Creek campus is quite different yet most of it remains untouched. Only about 5% of the acreage is used on a daily basis. You will still find a variety of wildlife including deer, cranes, geese, hawks, and the occasional peacock that wanders over from our neighbor’s house!

The unique artwork that you will see around the campus is the creation of resident and founder, Tom Suddes. Tom’s rock sculptures are made to reflect our underlying philosophy for Life Balance. These structures are constantly changing and require some time to find the perfect design. Additionally, the unique stick totem pole and vine work all came from right here on the property.

The Eagle Creek Castle is now the private residence of Tom and Trudy Suddes and serves a retreat for their 5 children and many extended friends and family, as well as the Eagle Creek Team.
